AHG Movie Database

 Arrowhead Gardens Movie Database 

A movie database is being developed to keep track of movie media available for use in the Movie Room or for borrowing by residents. 

Most media are in the form of DVDs or Blu-ray and will be located in the Movie Room.  Other media can be added to the database in other building locations for references.

As of December 2025, there are over 400 DVD/Blu-ray movies on display or in reserve for display in the B Building Movie Room.

Labelling & cataloging of all DVDs are planned to be ready by Jan 15, 2026.

DVD Cases are labelled with a database ID (0001,etc.) and with container letters (A-Z). The two cabinets in the Movie Room will have container designations A-H and I-P. Each container shelf holds about 20 DVDs. In addition to the two cabinets, there will be four DVD carry cases which hold about 25 DVDs each. The carry cases will have Letters R-S-T-U. Letters are white and are 3-inches tall, easy to see in the dark. Each lettered-container will have a printout stored alphabetically in a 3-ring binder for easy lookup. The online database can be searched using movie titles.
